Grow a Finger with Pig Dust

Lee Spievack sliced half an inch off the top of one of his finger and after he sprinkled some “pixie dust” the finger grow back.

The “pixie dust” is extra-cellular matrix, full off collagen and is made from dried pig’s bladder. Originally “pixie dust” was created to regenerate damaged ligaments in horses but Lee’s brother Alan who is researching tissue regeneration convinced him to sprinkle "pixie dust"

The U.S. Army Military is working with University of Pittsburgh scientists who developed the pixie dust to find a way to allow injured soldiers to regrow lost fingers, skin, and even whole limbs.

Spievack lost the finger in 2005 when it got caught in the propeller of a model plane. He did not want a skin graft, opting instead to try the “pixie dust.” Spievack said that his finger even has a fingernail and fingerprint.

Collagen gives skin strength and elasticity and is thought that the dust kick-starts the body's natural healing process by sending out signals that mobilize the body's own cells into repairing the damaged tissue.

China is building a nuclear submarine base

Breaking news China is building a nuclear submarine base and US is scared.

Someone gave The Daily Telegraph satellite images that show a harbor which could house nuclear ballistic missile submarines and aircraft carriers.

Images show several warships and a network of underground tunnels at the Sanya base on the southern tip of Hainan island.

The tunnel entrances is estimated to be 60ft high, built into hillsides around the base the tunnel leads to caverns capable of hiding up to 20 nuclear submarines from spy satellites.

The US Department of Defence is pretty scared because China will have five 094 nuclear submarines operational by 2010 with each capable of carrying 12 JL-2 nuclear missiles.

China has diverted much of its resources from the huge Peoples Liberation Army to the navy, air force and missile development. An old Russian aircraft carrier, bought by Beijing has been picked over by naval architects who hope to "reverse engineer" the ship.

In the next five to 10 years the People's Liberation Navy is expected to build up to six carriers which will also coincide with the Royal Navy’s construction of two major carriers.

The location of the base will give the submarines access to very deep water exceeding 5,000 meters making them even harder to detect.

Britain’s Trident submarines have to remain on the surface when they leave Faslane in north east Scotland and cannot dive to depth until outside the Irish Sea.

This is a challenge to any hegemonic power, particularly the US which still remains dominant in the region. But so far China has offered no public explanation for its building at Sanya.

The images were obtained by Janes Intelligence Review after the periodical was given access to imagery from the commercial satellite company DigitalGlobe.

David Blaine sets World Record for Underwater Breath Holding

David Blaine set a world record for underwater breath holding of 17 minutes, four and four-tenths seconds in Oprah Winfrey's talk show.

Blaine was suspended in an acrylic sphere filled with water 8.183 liters of water, the spent the first 22 minutes inhaling pure oxygen.

Blaine said that he was aware that his heart was beating irregularly near the end.

"I actually started to doubt I was going to make it because I'd never done it with such a high heart rate," he added. His aides said during the event that his heart rate should have dropped far lower than it did.”

Gigantic Squid Eaten by Scientists

A gigantic squid caught in 2007 and weighting 495 kilograms is being unfrozen by scientists, they want to “study” the squid but their intentions where revealed yesterday when several Japanese and Australian scientists started to cut and eat different parts of the squid. By eating the squid they “examined” the ammoniac content. This is the way that real scientist examine the most intact specimen ever found.

The good news is that the thaw will take longer than “scientist” hoped and maybe they will eat some sushi instead.

Godaddy hosting problem fixed

I solved the hosting problem, apparently if you use Godaddy.com you can host an unlimited number of domains. I use the Deluxe Plan has unlimited hosting but can host only three domains, if you want to host more domains you have to buy a Virtual Dedicated Server even if the websites use only html with no databases.

My problem started when I added a new domain to that hosting account, I submitted two tickets and they said that this error occurs if I use more that 50 connections to the server, I didn’t want to argue so I did what any other person does, I deleted one domain and I bough an new hosting plan just for that domain. All the domains work fine now and remember that although the plan is unlimited you can use only three.

3G iPhone at $199 in US

The new 3G iPhone will be launch this summer around June 27, the 8 gigabyte model will cost $399 and the 16 gigabyte model will cost $499. Furthermore carriers will sell the new iPhone at $199 or $299.

The new iPhone will have 3G support, integrated GPS and will be 2.5 mm thinner. Apple will stop supplying the old model several weeks prior to the launch.

Google PR Update

After a small vacation I notice that in 28 April the page rank of my blogs started to change, the most dramatic change was when the PR of a blog dropped from 4 to 0 and then back to 4, this happened with all my blogs. FUKBlogger.com when from 0 to nothing and in just a couple of hours went up to 3. That PR drop really scared my, but I know that the PR of a blog doesn’t do much for your traffic, you can have a blog with PR0 and still be on the first page on Google.

The Recession Hits Me

I didn’t write anything in the last few days because the recession has affected me. More exactly in March I manage to earn more that $500 and this month I will only get half of that amount since most of the advertising companies have started to give less money to publishers.

When you have a blog that has thousands of viewers every day that made $16 a day in March and $8 a day in April you aren’t very happy, so I had to develop a strategy for the next three months involving all my blogs.

Because of the recession many bloggers will suffer, and this year we could see another dotcom crash, Google, Yahoo and many others big companies will soon report some big loses and I am waiting for that moment to buy some of their stocks.

This isn’t a good year for business, in fact this “recession” is a world depression. But don’t worry until a couple of weeks ago we weren’t in a recession, so the depression will not come very soon.

Shine is a site for the 40 million women between the ages of 25 and 54 who visit Yahoo every day. Shine is actually a blog that has some limited Yahoo functions.

The blog has ten topics Fashion + Beauty, Healthy Living, Entertainment, Parenting, Love + Sex, Work + Money, Food, At Home, Astrology and Speak Up.

And like any blog Shine get it share of comments full of spam, there where a couple of “I like it, look at this video” but apparently they deleted those comments, but it doesn’t matter some will replace those comments, but I don’t think that the women visiting Shine are interested to buy Viagra.

This year Yahoo has made many upgrades and has launched four new services, is Yahoo trying to get more money from Microsoft’s?

50 Cent has a social network

50 Cent has more than 1 million friends on MySpace and decided to start his own social network Thisis50.com.

Thisis50.com is build on the Ning platform, the website isn't meant to be a fan club, but rather a platform for 50 Cent to showcase his music and the music he likes, and comment on news and user profile pages. Thisis50.com users can create profiles and friend lists, but 50 Cent has direct access to the site's users and their e-mail addresses.

Chris "Broadway" Romero said "The thing that separates Thisis50 from MySpace is we control the e-mail database. We can e-mail members if we want to."

Kylie Minogue, Ludacris and Pussycat Dolls have launched their own social networks. Gina Bianchini, CEO of Ning said that artist use MySpace and Facebook as funnels for their social networks.

And it's relatively inexpensive to create a social network if artists use one of the companies that provide the tools and hosting. Artists also tend to pay for labor to run the sites, but if fans get involved and add things to the site to share with others, it can reduce the need for staff to constantly provide new content.

Read the Wall Street Journal for Free

You can read The Wall Street Journal without paying the $79 annual fee for free. Wall Street Journal allows Google and other search engines to index its articles, and it also allows Digg and other news aggregators to link to their articles.

So if you search for a title on Digg or Google and click that link you will see the full article, the problem is that you will not be able to read the all the articles but you can read them if you use one Firefox add-on.

You can read Wall Street Journal articles using a couple of methods:

1. Search an article on Google or on other search engines and if the article is indexed you have access to the full article.

2. Search an article on Digg and if some one submitted the article you can see the full version of the article.

3. Install Firefox and the spoof add-on.

The last method allows access to all the Wall Street Journal articles, and it requires lees work that the first two methods.

To use the third method you need Firefox and an add-on, the add-on can be found here.

After you have installed the Firefox browser and the add-on, go to the Wall Street Journal website, and in the refspoof toolbar you will find “spoof:” and a field, write in the field digg.com, click the R icon and select "static referrer".

Now you can read any article for free and the Wall Street Journal thinks that you are visiting the articles from Digg.

TNX is an advertising system that facilitates the selling and buying of text links at a low price. This system was created for advertisers that want to increase their website ranking in search engines fast. This system is different from other advertising system because website owners that are TNX publishers are actually selling their site ranking, and the advertisers don’t want visitors, they want to increase their website rank.

The TNX code is “very simple” and comes in two versions PHP and Pearl, and because of this spider will not detect the code easily.

For publishers TNX has some benefits, because this is an automated system, publishers don’t have to approve every link that appears on their website, but if you don’t want to link to a certain sites you can easily ban that link. Unlike other advertising systems with TNX you sell different ads (links) on every page of the site that may bring more money that the usual ads.

TNX advertisers get to improve their site ranking for certain key words by buying thousands of non-reciprocal links to their site at a very low price.

TNX advertising is based on points, publishers earn more points if they have many page with a high Page Rank, and because not all pages have the same rank the number of points that you receive will not be the same for every page. Also advertisers pay more if they want links from websites with high Page Rank, but with the same amount of points they can buy more links from websites with a lower Page Rank. The points a member accumulates can be sold to other members or sold back to TNX, from the transactions TNX takes a 12.5% commission from all its members, advertiser and webmaster.

If you decide to use TNX you must know that if Google will find that you sell or buy links it will penalize your site.

This system poses some dangers for publishers and advertisers, if an advertiser buys too many links for a new website, Google will figure out that he is buying links and the site will get sandboxed. Publisher will get punished if they have too many links to websites that are not related with their site content, but Google will also punish the advertisers. All do TNX has some filters publisher will get some unrelated links on their site, and advertiser will get links on unrelated pages, this can’t be stopped unless more publisher will join TNX.

If you have decided to use TNX take it slow don’t buy too many links from the start and you will pas under the Google radar.

TNX.net website isn’t indexed by Google because the Googlebot isn’t allowed to crawl the website, so al the rumors that Google banned TNX.net aren’t true.

Google launched Google for Non-Profits Portal that offers tools to non-profit organizations.

The portal is a shop full of free stuff, like Google-hosted email at your own domain, Google Checkout with no transaction fees until 2009, free online advertising through Google Grants and the usual Blogger and Google Docs account.

This program is only for non-profit organizations and to use some of them you need to prove that you are a non-profit and Google Grants are available only in a couple of country’s and even if you live in one of those countries Google will review your application.

Yuwie is a social network with a twist; Yuwie pays their users like myLot but between them are major differences. Both Yuwie and myLot are making money from advertising and they share the profit with their users, but the way a user earns money differs.

Yuwie users earn money from the page views they get from other Yuwie users and myLot user get paid by the number of discussion they start and by how others users rated their replies.

Yuwie is like all the other social networks, members can create personal profiles, add friends, add videos and pictures, create clubs (groups), and can create blogs on Yuwie’s blogging platform. I have found something interesting if you search myLot scam and Yuwie scam you can find two websites that link to each other and they tell the story of a myLot user that got banned and when he moved to Yuwie he found the Holy Grail, I don’t know if this is a true story or just a way of promoting Yuwie, you can decide for yourself.

AboutUs is a very useful wiki that automatically creates an about page for any websites.

To get listed all that you have to do is to write a website address and a robot will crawl the website. If someone searches for a website that isn’t in their database a robot will quickly gather information about the website, and thumbnail image is taken, additionally they provide external links to Alexa and to a WHOIS domain search.

This website can help you to get a higher Page Rank, and build some backlinks. Because this is a wiki you can edit the page so it can provide more information about your website and for the same reason if someone wants to spam you it can do it very easily.

When I searched FUKBlogger.com the first time my blog wasn’t in their database, a page was build and after 10 minutes I got the “Adult Content” message.

Although my blog doesn’t host any adult content the domain name “FUK” resembles with “fuck”.

myLot is social network with over 122,900 users (most of them are inactive), that uses a revenue sharing scheme, user get paid if they start discussion and respond to other discussions, user earnings are related with the number of visits and ad clicks his discussion gets.

Users get paid if they have a minimum of $10 in they account, this could mean hundreds of started discussions and replays.

Analyzing myLot I come to the conclusion that this isn’t the best way to earn money and is the last place to promote your blog.

RIAA encourages Piracy

RIAA has accepted that it can’t stop piracy and tries to makes money by introducing a new tax. RIAA wants to collect a $5 fee per user per month from the internet service providers (ISP).

The money will be used to compensate the performers, music labels and songwriters, the collected money will be divided according with the artist popularity on P2P networks.

If they manage to surcharge the ISP, this would mean that downloading music from P2P is legal, and if all internet users will be charged it will be mandatory to download music. This tax will make music cheaper, who will buy an iTune for 99¢ when they already pay $5 and can download millions of song.

There are many unknowns about this tax, will all the internet user have to pay or only those that download illegal content, how will they verify if a user is downloading a game or an album. Because of this question I doubt that the tax will be applied.

Conclusion:

Google Sells SEO Services

Google acquired DoubleClick, and DoubleClick’s Performics service offers “natural search solutions to improve search engine crawlability”, Link Building and Content Optimization.

Google offers a service to game the Google search engine, now you don’t need any “black hat” knowledge to get a high Page Rank, you simply buy from them some link farms and you’re done.

If they keep this service publishers will take a hard hit, because Google will continue to modify the Page Rank algorithm and those that don’t use this service will get penalized.

Some are wondering why EU allowed this to happen; they bribed the right person, who doesn’t need a couple of millions. Microsoft didn’t pay the right people and got a €899 million ($1,359 million) penalty, this should be a lesson for them.

The next step Google will make is to sell Page Rank.

Buzzshed is a video bookmarking site, this is different from other bookmarking website because you get paid $0.30 for every video they send you to rate. When you sign up there are three types of memberships: BuzzClip member, non-BuzzClip member and Advertiser.

Only the BuzzClip members can get paid and to be a member you need to live in one of their 40 country’s list. As an Advertiser you can create campaigns for targeted audience and one video view costs $0.49. I don’t thing that Buzzshed is very useful for advertiser because the majority of the members only want their $0.30 and don’t care about the advertised products.

And apparently there aren’t many advertiser interested in their service.

Republican Tim Couch is Communist

Kentucky Representative Republican Tim Couch filed a bill to make anonymous online posting illegal.

The bill would require anyone who comments on a website to register with their real name, address and e-mail address. And a website owner will have to pay a fine if people post anonymously on his site, first-offense fine will be five-hundred dollars, and after that one thousand dollars for each offense.

This bill was created to stop the “online bullying”, also known as freedom of speech. He had problems in Eastern Kentucky district, but now he has problems every where.

Let’s assume that people will use their real name and address to post comments, this will not stop people from swearing him, but after you write on some blog that someone is stupid, a person that doesn’t like your comment will knock at you’re door and beat you, or you may be sued. This bill wants to create fear, Tim Couch thinks that he is some big shot and people shouldn’t criticizes him, people from Kentucky should remind him who he is, the one who will not get elected.

If the bill passes it will be used against the people, it will be a step towards a Communist USA, isn’t USA fighting for freedom. I am curios what will happen with the bill.

I got a new motherboard, this year the computer will be running at full speed. My backup computer crashed four days ago, the backup was my old computer so it is no surprise that it crashed. Now I have to get a new backup computer, this will happened some time this year. I hope that the computer won’t crash again, because I am tired of fixing it.

Scratchback is basically an advertising system, they call it tipping jar to stay way from the Evil Google. They use the "nofollow" tag on all the links and images so you will not pass Page Rank.

This advertising system is special because peoples can tip you and can get a link to their website. However, the widget owner has no obligation to show any link on his website, this is what makes Scratchback different from other advertising systems. Therefore, if a one of your visitors decides to "tip" your blog, and you do not like the link, you have no obligation to show that link and you keep the money, there is no refund because this is a tipping jar not advertising company.

The link can be text or an image it is your choice what you show on your blog, also it shows a custom message on mouse over, you can show only one widget per page but you can show any number of widgets on your website.

The payout limit is $25 and they pay through PayPal, from every tip they take a 10% fee, this fee is set for the beta trail, at the end of the trail, they will change the commission.

The Scratchback widget can be customized, there are a couple of designs from which you can chose, but if don't like them you can create your own widget that must be approved by the Scratchback team or you can pay a one-time fee of $50 to get the Scratchback team to create the widget for you.

The Scratchback system is a good combination between a donation and an advertising system, although I don’t like any of their widget designs, this seems a good advertising system.

I have claimed the larges know diamond, the diamond is actually a crystallized white dwarf with the name BPM 37093. The dwarf star was discovered back in 2004, and is very close to home at a distance of 50 light-years from the Earth in the constellation Centaurus, it is 2,500 miles across and weighs 5 million trillion trillion pounds.

The 1967 Outer Space Treaty signed by both the United States and the Soviet Union establishes that no signatory nation may claim sovereignty over any territory on planets beyond Earth. I do not know if this applies to dwarf stars, but the first one that reaches the star owns it and my Space Diamond Lander 1 just landed there.

Now that I am the richest man on earth, I don’t know what to do next, I always wanted to get rich and now that I have accomplish my goal I feel a huge relief.

PayPal has launched last year a widget, which allows anyone to show a storefront on their blog sidebar, or on any website that allows you to embed a HTML code.

The widget has many useful features:

Storefront display- you can show images of the items that are for sell.

Item navigation- back and forward buttons.

Sold Out message.

Store Closed message for temporarily close stores.

You can change the widget theme and colors; you can show your own logo and store title, also you can add to each product a description, a picture and a price.

The widget is very easy to use, it supports 17 currencies and customers can rate their buying experience and review your storefront.

I will use this widget here in the sidebar, I always wanted to have an online store, I have a couple but this will be special, people will actually buy from me.

Realmee is a website where you can create a page about yourself, something like the White Pages. There are many websites that do the same thing, but the Realmee team will do everything they can so your page gets in the top search results.

Realmee doesn’t use cloaking, linkfarming or anything else that may be considerate “black hat SEO”, you can check in their FAQ. There you can find “we will do anything we can to rank your website high in the search engines”, I searched a bunch of people from their index, those that are on the first page are also in the top search results, but people that are on the rest of the index pages don’t appear very often in the top search results. This may not be their fault, you can’t get all the time in the top search.

In a page you can add information about yourself, your address, phone number, email address, a link to your website (they follow), where do you work. You can also add 10 widgets from other websites, your blog RSS, a video, and some pictures. Right now there aren’t many features but in the future they will add more.

This is a useful website it can help you to increase your page rank, being in the top search results won’t do you harm.

I will pay close attention to this website, who knows what they will do next.

Amazon launched a video sharing program “Your Video Widget”. You can upload videos on Amazon and add the code to your website, while playing you can show different products.

This program is for blogs and websites, not for watching videos like on YouTube, Amazon doesn't have a portal for the uploaded videos, but who knows maybe in the future.

The video must not be longer that 10 minutes and larger that 100MB, no two products can appear within 10 seconds of each other, videos that are obscene, or contain violence and nudity are not allowed, you are not allowed to show phone numbers, mail addresses, URLs, prices, or shipping information.

You make money from the referral fees, like before. So you can't use Amazon to promote your blog, you can use it only to sell stuff. Like any other type of ads this will work beater if you show products that are related with the video content.

Blogger has launched a new useful feature Scheduled Posting. Now you can publish post at any time in the future.

To use this feature you have to log from http://draft.blogger.com/, write the post and set the publish date and time using “Post Options”. I have tried this feature and it works, but it has some bugs and the Blogger team is working to fix them at some point in the future.

I have waited for this feature from the moment I started to use their blogging platform, now is too late.

I don't know if the exchange market is the cause of these offers but people are expecting to get rich, this may came as a shock but only a few will make more than a couple of dollars.

I didn't write anything in the past six days because I had a big problem, my motherboard crashed this is the third ASUS motherboard that crashes and this makes it official ASUS motherboards SUCK. In the past days I didn't had access to internet, and you can only imagine the pain I been through. Because I bought the motherboard from a small store they didn't give me a new one, I have to wait a couple of days, but don't worry I will never buy something from them again because they SUCK. Now I have to use my old computer, this needed a new processor (the old one overheats) and because it is so old I didn't find a faster processor only slower ones, I bought one and it works in slow motion but still I have a computer that works and when I will get the new computer back I will have a backup.

Many things have happened in last days, I just read the news, you already know this things but this won't stop me to write about them.

Tipit.to was created by three Dutch students; they have created a “tipping system” that works similar to a PayPal donation system, the difference is that visitors can donate any amount of money no mater how small.

You add the “Like it? Tip it!” button to your website, people that like your articles can tip (donate) any amount of money they like. People that donate can pay Tipit.to once the total amount of donation exceeds $3 or $4; then Tipit.to gives you the tip. If a person donates small amounts all the tips are stored in his account until the total reaches $3 or $4 at that moment they are asked to pay the amount they donated. So if you get a $0.1 tip from one person and after that the person doesn’t pay Tipit.to you get nothing.

Tipit.to doesn’t seems a good way of making money, because this website is very easy to game, for example one of your visitors sees the button, signs up to Tipit.to, makes a $2 donation that he will never pay, then he makes another account and another donation, you get all excited, hoping that the people that donated money reach the $4 mark so you can get paid and after months of waiting noting happens, and you get a depression when you see that all was just a lie.

This website could be used to promote a blog, all the website that get tips are featured on the front page, so a person that wants to play with the system could create an account, add the button to his blog, then make another account that tip $2 the first account, and this actions will get him on the first page of the website.

Disadvantages: Tipit.to uses PayPal for transactions; you get paid if you have a minimum of $40 in your account. They take a 7,3% fee from every donation and payment, so at the end Tipit.to gets paid two times, and every time the money pas through PayPal they apply a fee.

Using the PayPal donation button is a beater way of making and receiving donations, when someone makes a donation through PayPal you will get paid.

This seems to be a get rich quick scheme, even if it isn’t.

Blogger has introduced a new feature today, now you can receive and make calls for free with GrandCentral. This service is in private beta, but Blogspot bloggers can get a free account immediately.

GrandCentral has been acquired by Google. GrandCentral is a service that allows you to manage all your phone numbers and your phones. They give you one phone number, which will forward to other phones when you receive a call.

GrandCentral has some useful features, people can leave you voicemails without seeing your number, you can screen calls, block unwanted callers, record calls, record greeting messages and many more features.

GrandCentral has some limitation is available only in America, you can’t have more that one phone number per account, the service doesn’t support conference calling or using the number as a fax number. They are working to add more feature to this service, but at least in beta testing the service is free. You can read more on their blog.

The problem with GrandCentral is that Google will know exactly where you live, what is your phone number, who you call and what are you talking about. One of the features is recording calls, what will stop them to record all your phone calls, nothing.

I personally don’t thrust them.

AdSense has launched AdSense for Video, and before you get all worked up you can use it only if you have at least one million videos streams per month and it’s only for U.S. publishers.

There are two types, InVideo ads appear at the bottom of the video, when you click on them a second video appears over the first and starts playing this are paid on a CPM basis. And text ads appear at the bottom of the video and are like regular ads, this are paid on a CPC basis.

How many of you have one million streams a month? People that have YouTube clones with a large amount of users and don’t already use InVideo ads can take advantage of this program.

If you really want InVideo ads there are many adverting companies that offer this service for any user. AdBrite lets you do just that even if you don’t have a million video streams a month, and you can even show ads over pictures.

Ning, is a platform where you can create your own social network, you get a combination between a blog platform, a forum and a social network that don’t have all the features.

You can upload videos or embed from YouTube and Google, upload photos or you can add them from Flickr, create blogs, discussion forums, you can add RSS, some widgets and members have customizable profiles.

When you see it first time you say that this it’s all you ever wanted, it could be but is not. This platform has many features, but is hard to use. You need some time to learn what you can do and what you can’t, to add a widget you have to create a text box, click edit button and paste the code. You can’t customize the template in many ways, you can choose from a couple of template and edit the CSS but this is all you can do if you don’t want to become a developer.

You can use Ning for free or use the premium version, the free version has AdSense ads on the right side, and you can still show you own ads in a text box. In the premium version you can show your own ads for $20, use you own domain name for $5, remove the “Create Your Own Social Network” button for $8 and if your social network exceeds 10GB of storage and 100GB of bandwidth, you can purchase more storage and bandwidth for $10. This premium service forces you to buy everything from them even bandwidth, and it's pretty expensive.

You can get rid of the ads if you create a network for adult content, even if you don’t show any explicit content, the draw back is that visitors have to sign up before they can see more that your main page.

Ning allows any content on your network even adult content, the most visited network are adult networks, if you want to create one the backgrounds and headers must not contain nudity and you have to make the network private and add a splash screen. They don’t “police” the network but when you receive an email asking you to purchase more bandwidth and you didn’t use your quota and have illegal content on your network, you know what you have to do, pay or move out and backup the member’s information before they delete the account.

Ning is growing rapidly; there are networks with thousands of members but because of their “premium” service I would use my own network script on my own host. Ning is useful because they follow.

Is Wikia Search a good search engine?

Wikia Search is a future open source search engine.

At this moment this website is junk, if you search google first result is the google.com, the second result is a website that is for sell but has a page that redirects to google.com, the third result is a webpage that has nothing to do with google, and there are two results “google.it” and “ww.google.it”.

Because it’s a new search engine the quality of the search results are low, this website was launched a month ago, they expected to improve the quality of the results and this never happened or at least they didn’t do any big improvement.

The only thing that users can do is to create their own profile and to “help with the miniarticles”, miniarticles appear at the top of search terms, these articles can contain short definitions, disambiguation’s and photos.

You can create miniarticles for search terms that don’t have them or for those that have you can edit them. But there is a problem:

“Miniarticles are for helping people. Not for spam or personal blogs. Please add only the canonical site(s) for this topic.

Do not spam. If you spam you will be blocked and your website blacklisted.

For a long time. You will be sad.

Do not spam. We do not want you to be sad. :-) Do something useful. You will be happy.

At first they are saying help us, then don’t do anything or you will get banned, then again they want your help but you shouldn’t do too much.

You can create a miniarticle for your blog if it isn’t a personal blog. I have created a miniarticle for my blog because this isn’t personal blog, by creating that miniarticle I am helping the people that are searching my blog and can’t find it, I provided information about my blog and a link to the blog. My blog is a canonical site because I am the only one that provides information about this subject.

So if want to write a miniarticle be careful, and anyway what you write in the miniarticles doesn’t help the search engine.

Another feature that this search engine has is a star rating system at this moment it doesn’t work, is only for show.

The only thing that you can do with this website is to harm others, by creating miniarticles with spam you can get the competitors website banned, when the star rating will work a large group of users could influence the search results for a search term in a majors way, they will rate with one star the most relevant website and will rate with five stars the most irrelevant website, something like a google bomb. The miniarticles will be used to discredited website, services and not only.

Another inevitable thing that will happen is miniarticle spamming, they can’t stop people from spamming because people are allowed to edit the articles, and because they can spam people will do it. Who will verify millions of miniarticles? The users but not many will do it, who will take the time to edit every single one.

A search engine is more dynamical that an encyclopedia and because users can interfere this search engine is a magnet for spam.

Wurkpal.com is website that allows anyone to chat in “anonymity”; this website was created as a chat room for company employees, but apparently isn’t used very often.

Users that are company employees will get a user name like “google_10101” because of their IP address, and the users that have a different IP address have names like “unknown_11010”.

Anonymity isn’t really anonymity, WurkPal will still track your IP, on the left there is a MyBlogLog widget, so before you go to that website sign out from Yahoo. The good thing is that you don’t have to create an account.

Even if this website isn’t very used, those who go there are angry workers who are expressing their frustrations, and users that are play and testing the website.

You can’t get visitors from this website because there aren’t many people around, but you could get some links back to you’re blog, just type the blog address and send the message, they don’t use the ”nofollow” tag and the pages get crawled, this could get you a higher PageRank.

The two websites look alike but Shareaflick still has the bugs that Shareapic had fixed; they don’t give much information about them or how can much you can earn from a video view.

Users don’t complain about them no one said that Shareaflick is a scam, they pay through PayPal if your account balances reaches $20, a Stumbleupon user said that this means around 200,000 video views, if this is true then at Shareapic you could make more money.

From the moment you enter their website you get the impression that this is a scam, it looks like Shareapic, you find about them from Shareapic, both websites are created by the same person ant that person got to lazy to create a different look for the website.

Shareaflick makes money from advertising and it’s full of annoying popups, so the person who came to watch your video will never come again, even if he has a popup blocker.

They don’t allow many things, too many:

Partial nudity (except for regular bikinis with no thongs)

Underwear pictures of any kind

At Shareapic you can host images and get paid by the number of views, they share their earning with the users. Shareapic makes money from advertising; the Shareapic monthly profit is divided by the total image views, this sets the price for an image view. This means that there isn’t a fix amount you can earn from an image view.

There are many websites that do the same thing, I will write about them if they prove to be reliable. I searched the internet to see if Shareapic is a scam or is the real thing. There are a few people complain that Shareapic has closed there accounts, this happened because they breached the TOS and there is some spam, on almost all the blog that have written about Shareapic you can find “Shareapic Scam” saying that Shareapic is a scam and “Loyal Shareapic User” who follows him and writes that he clarified this issue.

People are getting paid I saw some screen shots that prove this, and the fact is that there aren’t many people complaining.
Recently AdSense has stopped working with them because of some invalid clicks.

It seems that Shareapic is administrated by only one person, and has some problems with the bandwidth cost. So the business doesn’t make much money.

They don’t allow copywrited images but you can still see them and porn is not allowed.

They pay through PayPal when your account balance is over $20 and pay weekly, but is something interesting about the way they pro-rated “We pro-rate some payments depending on what country you're from. We don't get paid as much for Indian and Asian traffic, so obviously, we can't pay our users as much for it.” this is from their FAQ, so depending in which country you live they pay you more ore less, but what happens with the users that are from Asia and bring traffic from USA, are they pro-rated? This answer from their FAQ creates confusion and doesn’t build trust, they should clarify that answer.

They have a forum but there is something wrong about it: “Post your payments here (AND PRAISES)! Post all of your good experiences in here for all to see” again this doesn’t build trust, they shouldn’t write “Post all of your good experiences” because it looks like the users with problems aren’t allowed to write.

This program doesn’t look bad some extra money will make anyone happy, the only thing that makes it look bad are some minor details.

The accounts that are inactive 90 days are deleted, so be active.

Beware of Scams

In the last week I received a couple of email from different people, asking me to claim $6 to $20 millions from an African bank. The bank “manager” informs me that he got my email address from a search, and because I seem an honest person he wants my help to steal $20 million. From which I would get only 30% and for that money I should pose as the account owner.

The name of this scam is "419" scam ("Nigeria scam" or "West African" scam), there are variation of this scam but most of this scams are connected to West African nations such as Ghana, Liberia, Togo, Sierra Leone or Ivory Coast. The scammers have money and need your help to get the millions out of the bank. The purpose of this scam is to make the victim pay a “fee”, after this they “encounter a complication” and ask you more money until you run out.

This is not the first time I encounter this scam, the first time was last year on a social network, in that message the other person said that he followed my action in that network, but in fact I just sign up. The mails the scammers send are similar Africa is mentioned every time (this scam was created in Nigeria), they get your mail from a unknown source, in the last one the scammer said he got may mail from a search engine, but I searched the internet to see if someone has posted my address and I didn’t find it, and to get the money the victim is requested to do something illegal. These actions should make anyone suspicious, especially the fact that you would get only 30% from this, for $6 million who will bother to do this.

I don’t think that many people are scammed this way especially that a variation of 419 scam works beater in the real world.

Another scam that you may encounter is with PayPal, you read on a website that by sending $5 to a list of people, adding your mail at the bottom of the list and sending this list to other people you could make $10,000 in a week. In fact all the email addresses are used by only one person, you send money to one person and in return you get nothing. Another PayPal scam that you may encounter is phishing, you get an email from "PayPal@scam.it" asking to go and check you account, as can you see the email address isn’t from PayPal and the link from that email doesn’t go to PayPal, the link is for a website that look similar to PayPal, and when you try to login from that website you actually send your PayPal password to another person.

Remember don’t give money to shady people.

For a customer CafePress is not very different from other online stores. But for a sellers it's different because they don’t have to buy before they sell. You don’t have go through all the trouble to get something printed, CafePress does it for you, upload an image put it on a product and when someone places an order CafePress will print that image. And something important if they screw up they get all the blame, you are safe.

Another feature is that you can publish your own books and CD’s, if you don’t want to sell your book in a bookstore or no one wants to publish your book CafePress will do it. They will even burn CDs after you mail or upload the tracks, your tracks not those you downloaded from a torrent.

They pay through check and the minimum payout is $25, the downside is that you will get your money after two months.

You make money by selling things, products have a Base Price you set your retail price above the Base Price, and when you sell an item, they keep the base price and you get the rest. And there are two ways of selling: free the Basic option (is limited) and the Premium option ($4,99 a month) you can sell more things and make you’re shop look like a website.

CafePress has more that 4.5 million members who are working hard creating new ideas every day. You can find unique products like this one. That is the power sign.

Pornography is a $14 billion industry, and is one easy way to make money. I decide to write about this because I have a couple of friends that make around $10,000 a month and because there isn’t any guide about making money from porn.

I asked some people, I did some research and I made a beginners guide.

To make a porn website you need a script, a host that allows adult content, ways of monetizing, content and a domain.

1. The Script depending on what type of website you want

TGP (Thumbnailed Gallery Post) websites have small pictures (thumbs) linked to galleries that provide adult content in a form of pictures.

MGP (Movie Gallery Post) contain thumbs that lead to galleries with video content.

Streaming video websites like YouPorn.

Webcams

Scripts for adult websites are expensive, but you can modify scripts to suite your purpose.

There are two types of TGP websites, websites that link to other websites that contain the gallery and TGP that have their one gallery.

For a TGP that link to other websites you can take any CMS (Content management system) and change the template. You can use Joomla, Drupal, XOOPS, JAF CMS, WordPress.

TGP websites with galleries you can use any image gallery script like Plogger, MG2, Zenphoto, Minishowcase, Encaps, Coppermine, Menalto-gallery, WordPress with a photo plugin. Here is a simple php script, you upload the file in a image folder and will generate thumbnails for those images, it uses GD library like most of this scripts, I forgot from where is this script.

For a streaming video websites you could buy a youtube clone, or you could use a CSM, convert the videos to flv format and use a FLV player like JW FLV Media Player.

For Webcams websites you need a script for broadcast, if you become an affiliate they take care of this.

2. A Host

When you search for a web host be careful, many don’t allow adult content and when you find one that allows adult content see what others have to say about that host. Godady allows adult content but some users have problems on shared hosting.

3. Domain: find a good registrar and read their TOS before you use them.

4. Monetizing

All most all websites pay with checks and epassport.

You can make money from your website by selling links on a TGP.

You can make a subscription website but you will encounter more technical problems.

Sell ad space

Etology is reliable and they pay through PayPal.

Affiliated

Streamray if you join them you can promote 20 website and you can earn up to $130 per sign up.

DDGCASH they offer content even if you don’t have a working website, you can make money from signups, per signup payout, revshare and referrals.

HustlerCash offer content even if you don’t have a working website and has the same options.

Playboy before signup you must have a working website with galleries, that will get reviewed, has the same options and they offer content from their network.

ShapCash before signup you must have a working website with galleries, has the same options and offer content from three websites.

MacandBumble after signup you can use there content but you also must have a working website that will get reviewed.

DigitalDesire after signup you can use there content but you also must have a working website.

Cams you need a website they offer links to webcams.

5. Content: you can get galleries and video content from the above websites; here are the website that don’t need a full working website before you can use their content DDGCASH, DigitalDesire and HustlerCash. After you use there galleries to build content you can signup to the rest of the programs.

Wetpaint.com a free wiki websites

A wiki is a type of website with pages that anyone can edit and contribute to, including text, photos, videos, polls, and more. This is different, you can let anyone to edit your content or only those who join your community or you invite.

If you use the invite option you control the people who contribute and edit content on your wiki. This way you get a wiki page that only you can edit.

Unfortunately Wetpaint.com uses rel="nofollow" they don’t give link juice.

Wetpaint is easy to use, is search engine optimized so google can crawl their pages, has lots of features, and has a large community.

They have an excuse for the use of nofollow they are fighting spam.

A part of Wetpaint resembles with a collection of blogs, people are creating diaries, and they do this because they can, you can add tags, threads, embed widgets, and you can chose your wiki template.

You can use this websites to promote your blog in the Wetpaint community, I don’t thing that Wetpaint will bring many visitors from search engines, I found out about Wetpaint.com from a google search on page 20.

Bloggers 2007 earnings Poll Results

Last month I started a poll on 2007 Earnings and 84 bloggers have voted.

I got some interesting results:

The majority 30 bloggers have earned $0 to $20.

22 bloggers have earned more that $1,000 (To much to tell).

20 bloggers have earned $100 to $1000.

8 bloggers have earned $50 to $100.

4 bloggers have earned $20 to $50.

There are two extremes those who earn more that $1000 a year and those who make less that $20 a year.

Who is behind ProjectWonderful.com and can you make money from it?

Ryan North is the person behind the ProjectWonderful.com, I write about this because in the last month the number of Project Wonderful users has skyrocket. Almost every blog you visit from Entrecard.com you see ads from them, the two websites are similar on ProjectWonderful.com you buy ads with real money and on Entrecard.com you buy with entrecards.

The number of Project Wonderful (PW) users has increase because the use of PW ads on Entrecard.com

How Project Wonderful works

It works something like eBay (the bidding part), you bid for a spot and your ad will stay there until someone outbids you, when the price for that spot drops your ad will be showed again. The process is more complex, but this is the basic.

The advertisers opinions are divided some say that this program brings them traffic and some say it doesn’t.

Publishers can make some money not much, a big website like Entrecard with 3,500 users has four spot available, at this moment the price for one spot is $2,6 and the price has slowly dropped from $10. So if you have a website with 33,000 page views a day you can earn $10 to $40 a day. These isn’t to bad you could earn $1,200 a month, but prices on the majority of blogs that use PW range from $0,02 to $0,5 a day, if you use only this program you wont get much money out your blog.

PW gives you 75% of what you make and they pay through PayPal when you have $10 in your account.

I won’t use this program to make money soon but as an advertiser maybe, paying $0,02 for a day doesn’t sound to bad.

The only thing special about this program is that advertiser can set the price.

How to use File Sharing Programs

If you want to share your ebook or any other file there are a couple of programs that are easy to use.

P2P programs like eMule, LimeWire, Kazaa and DC++ are easy to use, just copy the file in the download folder and you are done, all you have to do is to wait for someone to search and download the files.

BitTorrent clients like µTorrent, BitLord, BitTorrent are not as easy to use. You have to create a torrent file with the description and the tracker address which you can get from the website that's hosting the torrent; here is a list of torrent tracker. Upload your .torrent file to that website and start the seeding task.

Azureus is a BitTorrent client built in Java and is much easier to use, create an account, click publish and select the file or folder. The only thing that I don’t like is that you can share only audio or video content, but this won’t stop you to share other file, by selecting a folder you can share anything you want.

At Azureus you will find movies and other things to buy, because it is a commercial website, the good part is that you can make money by selling or by showing ads of your page, $5 for every 1000 Qualified Ad Impressions for viewers from United States, Canada or the European Union; this was until December 31, 2007. And you can receive money through PayPal after your account net balance reaches at least $20.

Remember don’t share stuff that you don’t own, this is illegal.

Use P2P Programs to get Traffic

P2P is used every day by millions of people, why don’t you use these networks to get traffic. Sharing on P2P is legal if you share your own content.

What you have to do

Get some P2P programs like Gnutella, eMule, Kazaa and a BitTorrent client. Decide what you want to share your ebook, you’re home made movies, a mp3 file with you singing under the shower or some program you made. You can share any file you want, and haw many you want. Share the same file with the name slightly changed “shower song” and “shower song-your name”, this way people who download the files will trust the source.

Now if you are thinking to share you’re CDs and all the programs you bought and add the blog address to their name or in a txt file, don’t do this because you are making easy for other to find you and sue you. Add the blog address to the shared files only if you created the files.

The most popular P2P programs are the BitTorrent clients, create a torrent file and submit it to BitTorrent search engines and keep the client running so others can download.

If you think that this method won’t work you are wrong, P2P networks are used by big companies to promote their products, they share a pdf or doc file that contains a short presentation of their products. By doing this they don’t have anything to lose. Another thing that this method dose is that after a person downloaded a couple of files with the same content “go at somesite.com and buy it” he is thinking to buy that product because he can’t find it anywhere without paying.

I Moved to FUKBlogger.com

As you can see I moved from Blogger.com to Wordpress, that’s why I didn’t write any post in the last four days, I was busy making a template and finding plugins.

Making the template tacked time, because I didn’t made just one in building process I made several templates, which lead to creation of this template. I still have to make some small and maybe some big changes but you will find me at this address FUKBlogger.com. In the near future more this will happen around here so come again.

I had a hard time deciding which blogging platform to choose Wordpress or Blogger, you can use Blogger.com on your own domain but this isn’t a good platform, because you don’t have the same options like on a subdomain at Blogger.com, if you have something to add in your sidebar you have to add directly in your template and republish the entire blog. The benefit is that you don’t use as much bandwidth; Blogger.com just uploads the html files, you don’t need a database.

File Sharing Legal in EU

The European Court of Justice ruled in favor of Telefonica, Spain’s largest telecom operator, that EU laws does not allow Internet Service Providers to reveal the personal details of people accused of file sharing.

This doesn’t really makes file sharing legal, this ensures that Internet Service Providers don’t disclose your name if you use file exchange programs (peer-to-peer or P2P) and someone wants to sue you, because copyright infringement is a civil issue.

The Internet Service Providers are required to give your information if you committed a crime.

This means that in EU you can safely use any P2P program, and if an ISP will give your information to another person that uses this in a civil issue like copyright infringement, you can sue them both the ISP and that person.

This isn’t surprising because EU want that IP addresses to be regarded as personal information.

Search engine optimization for Beginners

In the past I wasn’t interested in SEO, this explains why I didn’t have any visitors, but now this has changed.

If you optimize they will come, I am not an SEO expert but I know a couple of things, that I will share with you.

For people to find your website you must include in your articles the terms they are searching. When you write an article on your blog you can use AdWords Keyword Tool, with this you will find what the most valuable keyword are, search with Google websites that contain a similar subject and then use AdWords Keyword Tool and add in your post the most searched keywords.

Very important factors in increasing your page SERP are high ranking keyword in Title tag, keyword use in Domain Name like keyword.com, keyword in Page URL like fukblogger.com/traffic-keywords, keywords in Alt Tags and image titles will help to get traffic from image search, keywords in Meta Description tag and in Meta Keywords tag and bold characters.

Cheap search engine submission, or other search engine submission programs won’t bring much traffic if you don’t have high ranking keyword in your page. If you thing that this is to hard and want to try a search engine optimization company, or SEO training you will pay a heavy price, you don’t need a specialist you can do it, you can improve search engine rankings without paying, you just have to analyze search trends.

Google has money problems?

This year Google has changed Adsense referral program, and has stopped Domain Tasting.

Thy have taken this actions to stop fraud, and to increase their profit. With the referral program you could earn $250 if the person you referred made $100, this led to a creation of networks with the purpose of making money from referrals.

They stopped Domain Tasting for those who use AdSense on they parked domains that are less then five days old. When you register a domain you have a period of five days in which you can delete the domain at no cost.

You’re probably thinking a domain is only $10 and you can use it for a whole year what is the point? You don’t make money just from one parked domain you make from hundreds or millions of parked domain. Lets say that you want to register 1000 domains this would cost $10,000 for one year, and making money from parked domains is not that easy, the five days will let you decide which domains makes more money and keep those and delete the others, again a group could take advantage of this. After you delete the domains one person from the group can buy them free make some money and delete them again.

With this scheme an average person could make millions, and it happened, one Google partner was generating $3 million dollars a month.

Google was making millions from this schemes why would they stop? Because of the danger of lawsuits, they can lose more that they can make from them. And maybe because in North America, Latin America, and Japan, there are less internet fraud dangers.

EzineArticles.com is another website where you can post articles. This is similar with Associated Content, but you can’t submit video and audio files and make money from page views.

EzineArticles has strict policies; you must be the “sole owner and author of the article and own 100% of all copyrights pertaining to it” meaning that you can’t submit your articles at AssociatedContent.com. After 10 approved articles they “may” upgrade your account to "PLATINUM UNLIMITED STATUS" which allows you to send unlimited articles that will get reviewed “faster”, between 2 to 10 business days.

This may be a good source of traffic, because at the end of the article you can include something about you and a link to your website. Additionally Ezine Publishers that get content for their website or ezine must include your signature and the link to your website.

Ezine Publishers must not modify the content off the articles they publish, or reprint more that 25 articles per year from EzineArticles.com, you don’t have the right to translate any content of the website in other languages, or add more links to the articles, and you can’t include the rel=nofollow tag.

Anyway these rules won’t stop anyone from copying your articles and removing the links.

I can’t say which website is beater for you

At EzineArticles.com you get more exposure, but you can’t share the copyrights.

At AssociatedContent.com you don’t get as much exposure but your articles get reviewed quicker and make money from page views.

Digg changed the algorithm

Finally every one can have his story on the front page of Digg.

The algorithm that runs Digg has been changed to allow every story a chance to the home page, until now groups of diggers could get a submission on the front page, with the new algorithm unrelated diggers have a beater chances.

Now having friends that vote your story isn’t a good strategy, being voted by strangers is the best option.

If this algorithm will stay, the diggers that controlled Digg will need a website where they can met without Digg interfering in their plans, a “Digg friend’s” website where the user can see who has voted his story and return the favor.

Scribd.com spammed by Internet marketers

At Scribd.com you can share any documents online, is a big user generated library.

Why Scribd got abused?

Not long ago you could upload Word, PDF, plain text, HTML, JPEG, PowerPoint, Excel, Postscript, LIT, and even audio format. But in the recent weeks a video appeared about spamming techniques, and in the preview video the Scribd.com was mentioned as a good way to increase you page rank by putting link in the file you upload.

The consequence

Scribd got angry and now you can’t upload HTML files and have links in your documents, you can upload document with link but they will converted in bold and underline words. Now search engines wont give you a higher page rank from Scribd documents because they dot have links.

The partial solution

Even if you don’t have links in your document you can get visitors, all you have to do is to write the full website address “mywebsite.com” where you wanted a link.

Add at the top and bottom of the page an image with the website address. For this methods to work and make money online you have to write good quality material.

Before this abuse Scribd was spammed in many interesting ways, remember don’t send money to strangers because they say you can make money. Unless is me.

Take Advantage of China's Internet Population

At the end of 2007

China

had 210 million Internet users and its online population is on course to become the world's largest at the beginning of this year.

There was only a gap of 5 million between the Chinese and U.S. internet populations, according to a survey released on Thursday on the web site of the China Internet Network Information Center (CINIC).

China's Internet penetration ratio has risen to 16 percent. The number of rural Internet users was raised to 52.62 million at the end of 2007, up 127.7 percent year-on-year. The rate was much higher than the 38.2 percent for urban areas.

86.6 percent of the total, used the Internet for musical entertainment, while nearly 170 million, or 81.4 percent, used it for real-time telecommunications.

73.6 percent browsed for news, 72.4 percent used search engines, and 59.3 percent played games. E-mail services were utilized by 56.5 percent of the Internet users.

The CINIC website said that last year, the number of users under age 18 and above 30 increased rapidly, but it did not give any details. At the end of 2007, users aged 18-24 accounted for 31.8 percent of the total and those aged 25-30 made up 18.1 percent.

Students accounted for 28.8 percent of the total Internet users, while unmarried people made up 55.1 percent.

Of the total, 57.2 percent were male and 42.8 percent were female.

Asia soon will have the largest Internet population; China represents more that 20% of the world's population and increases each year by approximately 12-13 million people.

India the world's second most populated country is expected to surpass China’s population in 2040.

China’s Internet rarely links to foreign websites: Out of 40 million external links on 5 million pages of 15,000 sites in China investigated, only 6% leave for websites geographically situated outside mainland China.

Out of all links investigated by Professor Jonathan Zhu:

81% of them head for sites within the “home province”;

13% head for sites on “other provinces”;

6% go “overseas”.

“Overseas” does not mean outside all of geographical Greater China. Inside Greater China, there are four customs territories: the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Submit Your Website at Baidu

Baidu.com it known as “Chinese Google”, after you submit a website or blog you still have a problem, the majority of China population doesn’t speak English.

Adding at the top of page translation tools won’t bring you more visitors, you have to translate the whole website, and this will bring visitors.

For the moment advertising companies don’t pay much for visitors from outside USA, Canada. This will chance rapidly, be prepared and start learning Chinese and hope that your blog will not be banned in China.

World Tyranny

It makes me angry every time I hear that some government is trying to censor the internet.

The lattes threat comes from UK, where the British Home Secretary announce in a conference that UK wants to take off all the “extremist” content on the internet, not only from UK from the whole world, because of “radicalization and political violence”.

UK wants to stop the free speech, doesn’t this sounds familiar?

The Great Firewall of China (The Golden Shield Project).

"If we are ready and willing to take action to stop the grooming of vulnerable young people on social-networking sites.”

Social Networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, Bebo and many others damage the UK economy with £6.5 billion per year.

The UK government considers social networking websites as “terrorist” because people want to talk with other people and organize in groups that “pose security risk”, and are “wasting” precious bandwidth.

Did you see “V for Vendetta”, that horrible future apparently is take shape right now.

Apparently some governments are still in the Middle Ages, the FUKers.

Traffic and Money from Associated Content

”Associated Content is a platform that enables everyone to publish their content in any format on any topic and then distributes that content to engaged audiences through its website and content partners. Those who contribute to Associated Content's ad-supported collection of original text, video, audio and images gain exposure and often earn cash for their participation.”

If you write unique content Associated Content is a good way to make money, they pay $1.5 per thousand page views (PPM); you earn $1,500 if you have 1,000,000 page views. I think that beats AdSense at least in my case.

You can make money from page views on Associated Content and drive traffic to your website, just put a link at the bottom of the article and you are done. HubPages is basically an article publishing site, where you can set up an account, post articles about almost anything, this is very similar with Squidoo almost identical.

HubPages get your blog or website crawled much faster that usual if you put a link on your Hub, because it doesn’t use nofollow links, at least for now.

HubPages is different from Squidoo because you don’t get a part (50%) of your lens profit made from affiliation; your ads receive 60% of total impressions made by your Hubs, and from this you get all of the money made from AdSense, eBay, and Amazon.

The bad part is that you must be an AdSense publisher and an affiliate to eBay and Amazon, so if you don’t make $100 with AdSense, $10-100 with Amazon in a month you don’t get paid.

With Squidoo you don’t have these problems, they pay when you earn $1 and you don’t have to be a publisher or an affiliate with the stores.

But HubPages has something special Flagship Hubs; this are big articles (Hubs) of 1500 words, with 3 relevant video, 10 helpful links and much more, after you get approved you have 7 days to complete your Hub, and get $25-35 when you finish your Hub. You have a limit of 30 Flagship Hubs a month and to get started you must sign a contract.

With both this program you have the same old problem traffic and you have do make a lot of pages in order to make some money, on this programs are users that have hundreds of pages, but I have one on each of them, this makes me the number one.

Today I start testing WidgetBucks, I have read some things on different forums about this program.
The good:

-They pay through PayPal when your account has a balance of $50.

-You make money from PPC (Pay-Per-Click ), CPM (Cost-Per-Thousand Impressions) and Referrals.

-Pay CPM for visitors outside the U.S. and Canada.

-Some publishers say that one click worths between $1-$0.1

The bad:

-PPC is only for U.S. and Canada visitors.

-They stopped the $25 signup bonus.

-Many publisher have complained that WidgetBucks has closed their accounts for no reason, or have changed their account balance.

Despite this problems I have decided to test this program. Todays $million comes from them, maybe.

You make a lens about something you like, put some modules with video, pictures and some text, and between this you put eBay, Amazon or other items to sell, you don’t have to be an affiliate to this stores, SQUIDOO is the affiliate and you share the profit with them, they send you money through PayPal.

If you have never been on SQUIDOO, I have some advices for you don’t freak out if you don’t find something, look at the top of the page and click Add Modules there you will find many useful modules; you add links and modify the text style manually.

Socialmarker.com it’s a “free service designed to reduce the time and effort needed to socially bookmark a website”.

What that means that on the first page you find a form where you insert the title, the link, a short description and tags of the article, select the social bookmarking sites where you want to submit your article, and click submit.

Now you are in a wonderful journey that will take you to 31 websites, where you will login at each of them manually and submit your content, if you have an account, if you don’t have an account you make one for every website you visit, 31 accounts like my.

Is nice that sometimes after you login, socialmarker will take you directly to the submission page. Is confusing in the begging after you submit a page it will take you to the submited page and if you want to go back for some reason, it will take you to the previous website, where you already submitted so is better to click next that to turn back.

Near the end of this long journey you will find some cloned websites, they have different names but do the same thing.

Do you want to be on the first page of Digg?

On Digg you don’t get on the first page with one vote, but you can find websites where with one vote you are on the first page all day. Jumptags is one of them; on the first page you find the lattes added jumptags, if you add a page you will be there, I personally like Jumptags.

From 31 websites someone will finally come to your website, even if you are that person, but don’t lose your hope.

The benefits

Google and the other search engines will give you a higher Page Rank, if you have link from websites with large amounts of traffic and who knows may be you will be on the first place on Google for a key word.

This site makes it easier; when you start you don’t have any reason to stop, only if the websites load to slow because of your internet connection.

Have you ever tried to insert the Google Adsense code directly into your Blogger XML Template and get this error?

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The processing instruction target matching "[xX][mM][lL]" is not allowed.

So, you resolve to insert the Adsense code using blogger widgets. However that means your widgets can not appear within each post, the best spots to place your ads. Don't worry, there is a way of inserting Adsense code straight into your XML templates.

Since Blogger started using XML everything is more strict and standardized. The above error simply mean the Adsense code is not standized XML and solve it we need to replace all the html character such as '<' with '>' '"' with '"'. For example:

AddThis is a widget that make it easier for your visitors to bookmark and share your content with other people. I installed this so I don't have to put each button separately, if I would do that it would be really annoying to have 36 buttons after each post.

It comes with Bookmarking Statistics, you can see haw many people have bookmark a specific page and at what services, you can export the statistics in csv format or in a simple table.

Begging with January 16, they pay you $1 for a Digg or StumbleUpon list, and charge $2 for a vote.

I sign up for this to see how this work, I don’t think that this program dose something wrong, Digg votes weight differently, they don’t reveal the algorithm, so getting on the first page of Digg is harder, your story must get many votes as quickly as possible, by the best diggers.

I think that your vote weight more if you are an older digger, you digg every day and take the time to read what you digg and how many votes that story gets after you digg, who are you're friends and how many of them vote that story.

Anyway you are paid for every list you digg and stumble, not by story. If you where paid for a vote you and the person who requested the vote would get banned easily.

A Digg list has 5 links and a StumbleUpon list has 3 link, this are easy money in 10 minutes you make $0,5 soon will be $1.

This is more that I make with AdSense, in one month I can make more that in a year, I might give this program a try, I am still thinking if will vote, if it’s a good story why not.

I like that he has a forum, if the visitors need more information they can go and ask other, this makes them come back. And even has a store.

The blog has some design problems every sidebars link needs more space above and under.

Entrecard works like a online advertising network, it doesn't use money just Entrecard Credits. With the credits you earn by drooping your card and visiting other blogs, you can buy space on other blogs.

If you drop your card on other blogs, the card will not appear on their widget or website. To see your card on other blogs and websites you must click advertise, you must have enough credits to pay and the owner must approve your blog.

You have two credits when you start, I now have three credits.

One important thing: You can send your credits to anyone.

I smell money

You can sell your credits for money, if you have credits and don't know what to do with them, you can sell the credits. Some offer credits in exchange for blog templates, gift certificates and many more.

100 credits worth around $1.
1,000 credits worth around $10.
100,000 credits worth around $1,000.
...
10,000,000 credits worth around $100,000.
100,000,000 credits worth around $1,000,000.

You can sell your credits through PayPal, you receive money and send them the credits. Here you must be careful; you may send the money and not receive the credits.

Entrecard will try to stop this, they will stop a few but not all. Here Entrecard can make money by allowing others to buy credits from them directly; I don't know if they really want to turn this in to a real advertising network.

The other option is to be the middleman, and this way they will make the selling of credits more secure and take a small fee from the transaction. This is a win-win situation, and every one is happy.

The price of Entrecard Credits will drop, because soon every one will know that here they can make money and on the internet will be more credits for sell. When this happens Entrecard will make it harder for you to make credits.

Graham Langdon will make another million soon. If he makes $1 million I will make $10 million.

BlogCatalog can do something very important; to send traffic to your blog.

Yesterday I was wondering how much traffic BlogCatalog can send to any blog.

This is what I found:

For the last four moths, “GO! Smell the flowers” is on the first page of BlogCatalog, has an Alexa traffic rank of 153,316 and a Google PageRank of 4.

BlogCatalog isn’t the only source of traffic. This numbers are for the blog and website, because they use the same domain.

“Get More Traffic” ” is on the first page of BlogCatalog and has an Alexa traffic rank of: 197,336 and a Google PageRank of 2, again the blog and website use the same domain so the rank isn’t only for the blog.

“Gale Rainwater Photography” is on the first page of BlogCatalog and has an Alexa traffic rank of: 581,824, for booth the blog and website.

“The ScholarPreneur” is on the first page of BlogCatalog and has an Alexa traffic rank of: 659,627.

These are a few of the blogs that I’ve researched; the rank depends of how long the blog stays on the first page. The blogs that have been on the firs page of BlogCatalog have a rank between 1,000,000 and 100,000.

BlogCatalog can get you an Alexa rank of 100,000. And with this rank I think that TLA will let you in.

My heart is still pounding hard, plus ethanator1088 wants to review his sport blog, this is a first.

One Million Dollar a Day Project

I see on many big or small blogs, projects like “$100 a Day” or “make a living from blogging”. Some bloggers want to make from $100 thousands $300 thousands this year. So I decided to start my own project “$1 million a Day from blogging”.

I am the FUK Blogger I don’t mess around with $100 a day or $1000 or even $10,000 a day. I what to make one million dollars a day this year, I know I can’t do it from the first day so this year I will earn only $300 million.

I am not exaggerating a FUK Blogger can do every thing. I didn’t make last year $15 not million only dollars, just standing around.

If you can’t join them, beat them.

This month I will make $1 million, the following eleven months $299 million, that is about $27 million a month. If I can’t do it who can? Nobody.

What will I do with my first $1million?

This is an easy question, I will buy some food, I am starving may be that’s why I am writing this.

I will feed the rest of my family. I don’t have a big family, just a hungry one.

Next I will find a girl that eats less money that me.

I discovered this new AdSense ads on my blog, I don't know if there are new ads, but there are new to my.

With this two buttons you can change the displayed ads, you can click four times and see ten ads, in groups of two.

In 2 days of exploring BlogCatalog me (the FUK:) I got 30 visitors. This is a record.

I have 46 friends, who know how to make blogmoney or sexy bloggers.

I like them all, but sometime I like the sexy bloggers more.

I joined some groups, I created the "I don't make $BlogMoney I make $Billions" group, but there are 4(four) members only. There aren't many peoples interested in making Billions.

With four members at the Billionaire country club we will get the chance to learn how to make more Billions, from each other and we will not tell you.

I like BlogCatalog it's a good blog directory.

Meanwhile I joined MyBlogLlog, I got 4 visitors but they where the BlogCatalog users.

BlogCatalog.com has a Alexa rank of: 1,506. You can get more readers from this social network.

BlogCatalog is making money from donation(I must remember that), if you donate money your blog is displayed on the front page, you get weekly thumbshot no ads and and other stuff.

BUMPzee isn't what it use to be, now every page is loading very slow. BUMPzee.com has hit rock bottom. If you go at Who visits this blog? the last one is from 1 week ago.

That is really bad. I was at the top and now is at the botom. If all the blogs that use their widget would remove it, Alexa rank will rise.

First on my list is BUMPzee.com.

I like BUMPzee.com, in the past a couple of visitor cammed from there. The web site need some more work, the statics for all the blogs aren't in real time, I like the fact that their widget can tell you how many visitors are in this moment on your website.

Those who have many blogs have a problem in all the blog directory's. When you click on a user name you see some times even 10 blogs and you start thinking what happened, which is the oldest blog and the newest, why are so many blogs. And you have less and lees readers.

So you should have 1 (one) blog per user.

The blog directory's are like Red Light Districts they are numerous, and located all over the internet.

The beginning

I have started to blog approximately a year ago, I was surfing the net and saw something about blogs, a lots of money and AdSense, I didn’t finished reading that article, and just typed blogger.com to create my blog at that time I was very excited thinking how much money I will earn (You did the same), and I have create my blog.

My first 5 blogs

1. My first blog: In that day I had an “extraordinary” idea to write about blogmoney (this was your first idea to) “I will write about something that I don’t know nothing and peoples will come”
And they cammed lots of them after I singe up to BUMPzee! and BlogCatalog “They where so many and I didn’t know what to do” 1 (one) visitor.

I started visiting other blogs and I saw something there where hundreds of blog with the same subject blogmoney, I realized that this blog will won’t make money, but I still continued. And drop it after a month.

2. The other 4 blogs were more successful I was earning a there figure a day between $0,05 and $0,01 and usually $0.0.

When I saw that I was fulfilled I joined the big liege. After a couple of months the same thing happened I lost much time, I didn’t make money and I didn’t have visitors.

The end of blogmoney

After a year I didn’t make my $100. So now I say to those who say that anyone can make thousand of dollars just like that FUK. You can’t make this kind of money, all most half of blogger are in for the money and they don’t earn much.

For those who think that they can make fast blogmoney they are mistaken.

You can’t make even slow blogmoney.
